Links to packs – only suitable for Pack System (Windows and Mac)

These DLC’s will only work when you have at least a legal base game.

Direct Downloads (selectable)
  1. Download the requested DLC’s  in .iso format from this site
  2. Mount the downloaded DLC (When you don’t know how, read this page)
  3. Copy the DLC folder from the mounted iso to the installation folder of the Sims 4
  4. Run the Unlocker

 

Installation folders:

Origin / EA app Steam Mac
C:\Program Files (x86) -> Origin Games (or EA games) -> The Sims 4

When you can’t find the correct folder, download this small file and run it. It will show you the correct folder for your DLC’s. Don’t put them in the folder __Install.

 C:\Program Files (x86) -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> The Sims 4. in finder press: “shift” + “command” + “h”
That should open the correct location, and you should see an “applications” folder, click and open that. Now you should see “the sims 4 packs” folder. If you do not see that, right click, make a new folder, and name it “the sims 4 packs.” Now, drag all those DLC folders you lined up into the “the sims 4 packs” folder.

 

When after an update your packs no longer show up, re-run the Unlocker

In Windows

When you download the files from this page , you have all DLC’s ready for use., just download and mount

You can pick which ones you want to include in your game by copying the folders from the mounted iso to your (legal) installation folder.
You can find your legal installation folder by downloading this small file and run it.
Run the Unlocker V2 to incorporate the chosen DLC’s into your game

 

In Mac:

To find the correct applications folder, in finder press: “shift” + “command” + “h”
That should open the correct location, and you should see an “applications” folder, click and open that. Now you should see “the sims 4 packs” folder. If you do not see that, right click, make a new folder, and name it “the sims 4 packs.” Now, drag all those DLC folders  into the “the sims 4 packs” folder.

Next, download and open the DLC Unlocker V1 and run the fix origin.client.command.

Now, open origin, and go offline. You can go offline by going to the bar at the top on the righthand side and clicking: “account” > “go offline”

Now run the game, and you should see your DLCs.

NOTE: you MUST be offline every time you run sims 4, or else you will not see your DLCs working. You can go online once in the game, but you will always need to be offline in origin to start your game.

  2. hi ive downloaded sp 47 and 48 and ran the unlocker multiple times and opened the game with origin offline but the packs are still not unlocked idk what else to troubleshoot pls help

    1. same here! they only respond after i click the three dots icon on top. i have gotten rid of my mods, reinstalled the game, and the packs. its been bugged for me since yesterdayy

    6. If you haven’t done so yet, please delete laundry and dust packs. Happened to me before. It worked after deleting.

  8. My sims can’t carry out the activities/objects with the movie hangout, bust the dust, vintage glamour, paranormal and bowling. I have the updated unlocker and my game has been repaired and updated mutiple times. Any idea how to solve the problem?

  9. Desde que intenté agregar el pack de “For Rent” el juego ya no inicia. A pesar de eliminarlo (para poder jugar los todos los demás DLC’s), el juego no inicia y al ver en el monitor de actividad del mac dice “no responde”. Alguien más a tenido este problema? Ya confirmé que mis mods no eran el problema, ya que al eliminar los DLC’s que descargué desde aquí, el juego funciona perfectamente. También intenté desinstalando e instalando nuevamente el unlocker. No sé que más hacer para que el juego se inicie y funcione bien.

  10. I come back to my question if my backups will work correctly if I remove some packs. I try in game and they said that I need Eco Lifestyle (one of the packs that I deleted). So I closed the game. I know that by cheat codes both for construction and objects are available. Maybe my house needed this pack. I surfed the web and couldn’t find the answer to my question. Can anyone help me?

    2. You can start the game again without the pack, but your game can crash, so it is your own responsability. I suggest just starting a new game, usually you won’t need the deleted pack anymore (with no issues regarding crashing of ur game)

  11. I’m in dire need of help. I don’t know what i’m down wrong. I feel like i’ve done all that I can think of. I followed all the steps but when I open Sims it doesn’t show me my new packs. When I go to ‘My Packs’ and I click on the pack I downloaded it shows a greyed out button. It is greyed out and says you already own this pack and then in red it says requires the Sims 4 and all game updates. I’m not sure what to do.

  12. So ive added the packs i wanted and my sim completes tasks without actually going to them for example i had my sim take a bath and it said they were taking one but they were standing at the front door of the house instead of i the bathtub and its like this with all tasks

    3. Your computer cannot handle the amount of packs you added to your game. Try deleting a few, worked for me.

  13. I want to remove some EP GP SP the game is getting heavy and there are packs that don’t interest me. Can I do it manually? And regarding my save, will the game work well afterwards? I have already removed sims from worlds that I don’t like

      1. Are you sure that the saves will work correctly? I read somewhere that there were problems with that..

        1. I tried to play a save game and it tells me that I must have the ecology pack to play. This is a pack that I removed.

  14. after trying download SP18 I only see “This object could not be viewed”, I downloaded it from “Alternative direct downloads” without problem but seance table is just not working, checked DLC unlocker, disabled all mods. Sims change into A-pose after trying to use seance table, please fix

  15. Hi,
    SP13 breaks the game. I have tested all the DLC’s and they work fine its just when I add SP13, the Sims become unresponsive.
    Is there an alternative link to download the pack again?

  16. All the packs are downloading and working fine EXCEPT Horse Ranch, For Rent, Growing Together, Home Chef Hustle, Grunge Revival, and Poolside Splash. The main ones that I really really wanna get are For Rent, Horse Ranch and Growing Together. Is there any reason this problem is happening, and is there anything i can do to fix it?

  20. hey!! i downloaded previous packs before (maybe a year ago) but now when i run my game they don’t work properly, does this mean i have to re-download them again bc the game updated? and if i do does everything in the worlds disappear? if i delete the old pack folders and download the ones here will the worlds I’ve built get deleted i mean. sorry for the weird question I’m not very good with these things.

      1. Some of your mods might be broken, have you updated them? It was happening to me once and I just had to delete all the ui cheats, columns, all the files that have .ts4script in their name, re-download them and it was fixed.

        1. yes, I did actually remove all of them! I don’t know which file exactly, I ran a bunch of broken file detectors and still cant locate the issue.

    2. Hey, I have a problem. I have a macbook, I’ve followed the instructions, put all EP folders from the .iso files into the “the sims 4 packs” folder and installed and followed all the instructions of running the DLC Unlocker, and the game still doesn’t show my packs nor lets me use then in-game. I go offline in the origin app and it still doesn’t work. Can anybody help me?? Idk what am I doing wrong… The dlc unlocker is dated 07.12.2023

    3. My game seems to be broken and I don’t know what to do, whenever I try to ‘hire model’ or just do anything with the photographer freelancer career my sim just resets, same thing with the toddlers when I try to make them play in the toy tunnels, slides, ballpits etc.

  21. Hey, mac user here. Every dlc shows up in game exept EP15, SP 44-46. I have tried putting them in the Sims4 Packs folder, also in the Sims 4 – show package contents – contents – delta folder, I even deleted origin and the Sims but in game it still shows up as “not owned”. Can anyone help me?

I can’t figure this problem out- My packs are working just fine but my sims will not move or do anything- and if they do they do the action standing in place (Not interacting with any objects) The most I can do is have my sims is move to another place in the house. I tried clearing cache, reinstalling origin, deleted all my mods, tried validating my files. Nothing works. Can someone please help???

    6. After 3 weeks I was finally able to figure out my problem. Turns out that I was using the wrong dlc unlocker after all, so if it doesn’t work for you either make sure you are NOT DOING THIS! I always downloaded my dlc unlocker from the section “Useful information by Xova” where it says “First of all, it’s best to install the LATEST version of the unlocker: (the link)” Well turns out the link isn’t for the latest unlocker… funny right. What worked for me is when I downloaded it from the “Step one” link (https://krakenfiles.com/view/899Bt6tj6y/file.html) Idk how it took me 3 weeks to realize this but I’m happy it’s working now :)))

  22. I downloaded EPs 5, 8, 9 (some of my missing ones) and followed all the instructions for the mac installation. Origin is definitely offline, but the packs aren’t showing for me in game. Anyone had this issue?

  24. Bonjour j’ai besoin d’aide !! le pack ” à louer ” apparait bien dans mon jeux avec le mode et tous les éléments de construction mais j’ai un problème. Quand il s’agit de choisir les pièces pour pouvoir créer plusieurs unités cela ne fonctionne pas je n’ai aucun chois cède qui m’oblige a avoir qu’une seule unité par terrain. Comment ke peux faire s’il vous plait !!!!

    1. Ce code d’erreur est dû à des mods incorrects.
      A chaque nouvelle mise à jour, il y a de fortes chances que certains mods posent problème

      2. Hi, how would I update my DLC Unlocker without messing up my game. I downloaded the new “For rent” pack but it didnt show up. I’m a MAC user and I made sure to go offline before I ran my game and it still didnt show up. but when i downloaded the expansion pack horse ranch from the other link MEGA it showed up in my game. is there any way to get for rent on Mega and maybe it will show up in my game? If not please help.

  29. Can anyone help? I downloaded the For Rent pack successfully and I have it in my game. Everything else works just fine, but when I try to click tomorang the screen freezes into a white screen. So everything else but the world works, what can I do?????

    1. apparently my mods were the problem. After I unabled my mods the world is showing?? has anybody else had this problem?
      But at least its working now!!

      1. had to disable my mods to show tomarang too, but the rest of the pack functionality (rental residentials, build mode items etc) works fine with them on. i’ve put my mods back on and i’m going without tomarang for the time being – hopefully anadius can get to the bottom of it soon!

    3.then it tells me that I have the old update and instead I have the latest one on anadius update.

    1. One mod that I’ve had trouble with is the Simzlink mod from lot 51 (the internet one), so if you have that one, I’d say move it to your desktop for now and try launching the game again. 🙂

      2. I couldn’t load any lot either. I updated all the mods that I could and in the end the problem turned out to be the Simzlink mod by lot 51 (the internet mod with the router and that). So if you have it and the problem hasn’t been solved yet, I’d suggest moving it out of your mod folder for now and trying again. 🙂

    3. how did you get yours to work? i’m on mac and i tried downloading the iso file but it keeps saying decompression failed. and if it does download then when i try to unzip it it’ll say that the file isn’t written and when i open my game it’ll say for rent is downloaded but there isn’t anything there. no can stuff, not build stuff, not even the world is there. does anybody know how to fix this?

  34. to anyone having issues on For Rent:

    *** Re-download the UnLocker, it shows a new version of it if you download it again. ***

    Follow the instructions:
    – remove entitlements first
    – Run Origin, Run The Sims WHILE BEING ONLINE.
    – Close The Sims, close Origin
    – add fake entitlements
    – Run Origin
    – put Origin OFFLINE
    – run The Sims

    It just worked for me, right now.

  36. Okokokok ya’ll I have it working!! Sorry if someone already said this, I don’t see any comments about this.
    What I did:
    Downloaded the pack iso. File
    Mounted it (double clicked on it to reveal a folder named EP15)
    Put that folder (EP15) into the installation folder (for me at least: shift+command+h —> Applications—> right clicked the sims 4–> show package contents—-> contents —-> put the folder in here)( open with—-> terminal
    Now make sure you’ve QUIT origin not just closed it. There shouldn’t be a small dot under app on the dock if you’re on Mac. If there is then right click the app and press quit or force quit.
    Then do what’s in the terminal. I think that’s included clicking any key on your keyboard. Number 2 for The Sims4
    And then maybe another key to finish the command.
    Quit terminal. Go back into origin. Account—-> go offline. And finally…. Open sims. Fingers crossed it works for everyone <3

  41. be patient guys, they usually upload packs 2 hours after the release and the pack came out 30 mins ago, i´m pretty sure in an hour and a half we´ll have it available for download!! 🙂

      1. You should do the dlc unlocker step. Each update you have to redo this step because otherwise you will not have the packs in the game. tell me again if it didn’t work on Instagram @lolaaschn

  47. I’m hoping someone can help. I play Sims 4 on my laptop and I’ve downloaded some of the DLCs and moved them to the correct folder (as I see the other free pack EA have given) but they don’t load in the game so I’m wondering if I’ve ‘mounted’ the games wrong and if so, how to fix it. Thanks x

    3. if you ran the unblocker and it still occurs,

      move the folder to desktop run the unblocker and move it back to the installation folder. Ensure EA is offline when running the sims 4, The DLCs should be there.

  48. I’m waiting for the problems with the latest additions and washing additions to finally be fixed. This problem hangs not for the first month, but there is little hope for its correction. It’s not even possible to go into the game, not to play, almost 4 add-ons are not visible no matter how you download them.

    2. same i was able to download all the packs around july and the newest pack i have is horse ranch but im not able to get any of the newer packs i dont know why, my game works fine and the packs i downloaded work fine but im not able to add any of the newer pack to my game and idk what to do to fix it i thought i was the only one going through this haha

  49. Bonsoir , j’crois je vais peter un cable ça fait 3h que j’essaie d’avoir les DLC je n’y arrive pas à chaque fois que j’ouvre mon jeu (en hors ligne ou en ligne) rien ne se passe je ne vois aucun pack posséder.

  50. Hi, whenever I try to play offline with these packs my game gives me this message:

    Too many computers have accessed this account’s version of [gameName] recently. Please try again later.

    I have not installed the Sims 4 on any other computers and this only happens when I want to play offline, online still works fine, so I think it’s a problem with the packs? I’m on mac btw.
