Mount an .iso file

What is mounting ?

When you mount an .iso file it simulates a virtual CD/DVD player  and shows the .iso as if you inserted a CD/DVD even when you do not have a CD/DVD player on your computer.
It will show up in Explorer as a CD/DVD player as a station (drive)

How to mount an .iso file

Windows 8.1 , Windows 10 and 11

  1. Simply right-click on an .iso file
  2. Select the option mount in the pop-up menu (usually the first item in the pop-up)

  4. select Open with …. then choose from the 2nd popup window Windows Explorer.

  1. Bonjour

J’ai téléchargé les DLC monter les iso mis dans le fichier sims 4 etc… mais je pense avoir raté la partie déverrouillage car je n’ai aucun pack affiche dans mon jeu .

    Comment dois je faire svp?

  2. wasn’t sure how to mount an iso file on mac and using the diskimage method didnt work for me so what i did was downloaded cisdem unarchiver and downloaded the dlc folders through that. not sure if this is gonna work but ill check back

    1. Download the torrent file then run it in a program for torrent-clients such as Utorrent.
When that is done, you’ll have the iso

  3. can anyone explain how to mount an iso on Mac I’ve tried both methods. for the disk utility method it’s not in the supported format, and through terminal I don’t know what command I’m supposed to use (hdiutil mount /Downloads/sample.iso, is what I used)

  4. Hi Tarac, your explanation and all was very helpful, it works for me. Thanks!

I want to add more packs, but I have problem with the drive letters. I downloaded the packs one by one, so 1 iso file will be 1 drive. For example: i download ” EPO1 “, after i mounted it, it became ” DVD Drive (F:) EPO1 “. Now, this has reached the end of the drive ( DVD Drive (Z:) ……….. ) LOL. it said “No more drive letters are available. Free up drive letter and try again”.

How to solve this? or is it true that i can’t have more packs? 🙁 Please reply and thank you
